I.F.C.A. Membership Options & Fees

There are a number of options available to professional communicators and those that support our industry. Most of our members belong to the Professional Member category.

Individual Membership

Professional Member: Fee $175.00USD

For those individuals practicing their craft (see About Our Members). Members pay a yearly fee that is renewable on the anniversary date of membership. The membership is owned by the individual and may be transferred to another company should they change employment during their membership period. The member must remain in a professional communication position in an insurance or financial services company with current payment to retain their active membership status.

Professional Members receive e-mail notices, our eCommunique newsletter and other materials and opportunities as outlined in our Benefits of Membership.

Associate Member: Fee $175.00USD

For those individuals who support our industry -  suppliers such as independant copywriters, graphic designers and other related professionals. The same terms apply as for Professional Members except they cannot vote for the Board of Directors or other Constitutional changes, nor can they hold certain Board positions.

International Member: Fee $250.00USD

A member who works for a company outside of the US and Canada. In all other ways they hold similar positions and have similar responsibilities to Professional Members. These members have the same rights as Professional Members.

Friend of I.F.C.A. Member: Fee $175.00USD
For those individuals who support our industry -  students, suppliers and professionals who do not fit into our above member categories. Members of this level have no voting rights nor can they hold office.

Group Membership

Group memberships are corporately owned. In order to establish a group membership a company must have 5 or more employees who meet the criteria of a Professional Member. They may each be located in different cities.

These employees have the same rights as a Professional Member except that they all must renew their membership as one. One invoice, one payment (credit card transaction or check), and one renewal date. One of the members in a group acts as the administrator and they become the contact person for membership renewals and are responsible for any changes within the group or communications between I.F.C.A. and the group pertaining to group participants and renewals.

Each member in the group still receives their own e-mail notifications, eCommunique newsletter and other member benefits.

Any membership may be transferred to another employee at renewal time. During the year a group membership can only be updated if the administrator member has left the company.

Group Membership 5+: Fee $160.00 USD each member

For corporate membership of 5-9 employees from one company.

Group Membership 10+: Fee $155.00USD each member

For corporate membership of 10-19 employees from one company.

Please note that all Individual and Group Memberships are non-refundable. There is no partial credit if a member chooses to terminate their membership prior to their renewal date.
