Frequently Asked Questions

Question: When do I need to send my entry samples to the Category Coordinator(s)?
Answer: The deadline for submitting your physical entry is May 29, 2009.

Question: Who do I send my entry to?
Answer: Please check our List of Category Coordinators to make sure each entry is sent to the right judging team. Click here to see the full list of coordinators and their mailing information. It is important to send each entry to the right coordinator so that your entry can be judged. Sending the entry to the wrong team can delay or even cause your entry to be lost in the mail as it will need to be forwarded to the right team.

Question: What do I send to the Category Coordinator to judge my entry?
Answer: Please forward 3 copies of the Detailed Submission Form with 3 samples of your project entry for each one entered into the competition. Please make sure you have the right Coordinator's name and mailing address for each entry package being submitted.

Sending your submission to the wrong Coordinator can delay judging your entry or it could be lost in the mail when it is redirected to the correct Coordinator.

Question: When will I hear about the judging results?
Answer: Sometime in July you will receive judging details for your entry. You will be advised if any have been selected as award winners. The full slate of winners will not be announced until Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at our Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony in St. Louis, MO during our 2009 Annual Conference.

Question: What happens if I am not at the Gala Awards Ceremony?
Answer: Winners not in the room to receive their award can receive them after the ceremony by mail or courier.

Question: Can I get more than one copy of my award?
Answer: Yes, additional copies of Best of Show trophies or award certificates can be purchased. Information on ordering additional awards will be posted on our web site later this  year.

Question: Can extra awards ordered contain different names?
Answer: Yes. We recognize that some award winners may want to include different names to recognize all participants involved in a project, especially if produced in conjunction with a customer or an outside design firm.
