I.F.C.A. Annual Awards Competition


Award Competition for 2010 Now Accepting Entries!

The Insurance & Financial Communicators Association is looking for the very best communications materials produced in 2009 & 2010 by firms in the insurance and financial services field - as well as affiliated associations.

These awards recognize the best in marketing and communications creativity, design and writing. Entering also gives you an opportunity to:

  • have your best projects reviewed and evaluated by other professionals from the industry and affiliated organizations
  • submit your best work to a panel of seasoned professionals who provide thoughtful comments and encouragement
  • see how your work compares to the efforts of other communications professionals in the insurance and financial services industry
  • gain insight that will enhance your abilities with your next project

Past award winners have said that entering the competition has:

  • elevated their profile with their managers and colleagues
  • been a morale booster and team builder within their department
  • provided bargaining power when negotiating their department budgets

Early Bird entry fee is $100USD for members and $125USD for non-members. Early Bird starts February 15 and runs through March 15.

 

Regular entry fee ($125.00USD per entry, or 5 or more entries placed at one time/one payment $100.00 per entry for members; and $150.00USD per entry for non-members) and appropriate forms are to be sent on or before April 30, 2010 for consideration in this competition. To take advantage of the special 5 or more member rate forms can either be faxed to this office 1-866-402-7336 or mailed to the address on the form. They cannot be placed online.

All Submission Forms and project samples are due to the appropriate judging teams by the end of May.


All Categories will be judged by a team of three judges. You will receive a response on your entry via email from the Category Coordinator sometime in August 2010. All entrants receive some form of formal feedback - a feature unique to this competition!

Awards will be presented at our 2010 Annual Conference which will be held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada October 17-20, 2010.

Please note: All entries and payment MUST be received by our office no later than April 30, 2010. Entries received by this date without payment will not be considered unless other arrangements have been previously approved by I.F.C.A.

Important Dates:


February 15, 2010 - "Early Bird" entries accepted

 

March 15, 2010 - Deadline to submit entries and qualify for Early Bird discount

 

April 30, 2010 - All entry forms and payment due. 

May 28, 2010 - Samples of entries along with 4 copies of judging forms must be mailed to coordinators for judging. 

August 2010 - Winners notified and all entrants receiving judges comments.

October 19, 2010- Winners announced and trophies presented at the Annual Conference in Montreal, Canada during the Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony.
